iOS Developer – Central Manchester close to Railway Station – Flexible working – 1-2 days remote working – paying up to £60k

My client a market leader requires an experienced iOS Developer to join a team you can be based in Crewe or Manchester

You will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of my client’s mobile applications and customer web portal.  You will be a problem solver, focussed and able to work on your own or part of a team.

The essential skills/attributes are: -

  • Proven working experience in iOS software development.
  • Published iOS apps in the app store.
  • A deep familiarity with Objective-C, swift and Cocoa Touch.
  • Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Ability for benchmarking and optimization.

The desirable skills/additional ideal experiences should include:-

Exposure to Database technologies, Postgres, Oracle, MySQL
